Instead of having healthy, strong, shiny hair, our<strong> hair is dry, brittle and breaks easily.<\/strong> Therefore, <strong>it\u2019s important to nourish our hair from the inside by providing it with all the nutrients it needs to be healthy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Discover what nutrients are essential for healthy hair:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Protein:<\/strong> Our hair is primarily <strong>made up of <a href=\"https:\/\/pre.shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/en\/vegetable-proteins-as-a-quality-source-of-proteins\/\">protein<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pre.shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/en\/vegetable-proteins-as-a-quality-source-of-proteins\/\">.<\/a> That\u2019s why we need to <strong>nourish it with legumes, grains, nuts and fish.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Healthy fats:<\/strong> They\u2019re very <strong>important for shiny and soft hair.<\/strong> In fact, many vitamins cannot be absorbed in the body without fats, also known as fat-soluble vitamins. <strong>Include nuts, seeds, avocado and healthy oils<\/strong> (olive, coconut, sesame and avocado oil) in your diet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Omegas:<\/strong> Omega 3, 6 and 9 are <strong>essential for healthy hair.<\/strong> You can find them in <strong>walnuts<\/strong> (the highest source of omega-3 in the nut family), <strong>fish and flaxseed oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Iron:<\/strong> <strong>Supports healthy blood circulation<\/strong>&#8211; an <strong>important factor for healthy hair<\/strong> (and skin!). Therefore, it\u2019s <strong>essential for healthy hair.<\/strong> It\u2019s <strong>present in leafy greens, almonds, avocado, sunflower seeds and fish.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zinc:<\/strong> One of the <strong>most common deficiencies that also happens to cause hair loss.<\/strong> <strong>Oysters, legumes and nuts<\/strong> are rich in zinc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biotin:<\/strong> This vitamin B component is <strong>very important for healthy hair.<\/strong> You can find it in <strong>yeast, soy and walnuts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vitamin B5:<\/strong> Helps<strong> prevent hair loss and stimulates hair growth.<\/strong> Mushrooms, oily fish, avocado, sunflower seeds and sweet potatoes are rich in this vitamin.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, <strong>our hair requires a large variety of nutrients for it to be strong, radiant and healthy.<\/strong> That\u2019s why<strong> it\u2019s important to have a varied and rich diet.<\/strong> We must include a wide variety of foods to nourish our body with all the nutrients it needs to work optimally.
