They were originally created by the owner of a tavern in New York named <strong>Joseph French<\/strong>, hence the name. It\u2019s a perfect recipe for breakfast because they are sweet and soft. Today we want to present a healthy French Toasts vegan version that is delicious too. It&#8217;s based on tofu and you&#8217;ll definitely love it. Get ready to prepare them!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ingredients (2-4 serves)<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Sourdough bread \u2013 4 slices<\/li>\n<li><strong>Soft Tofu &#8211; \u00bd cake<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Mustard \u2013 2 teaspoons<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brown rice <a href=\"https:\/\/pre.shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/en\/what-is-miso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">miso<\/a> \u2013 1 tablespoon<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Tahini paste \u2013 1 tablespoon<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sesame oil &#8211; 2 tablespoon<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Water \u2013 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Sea salt &#8211; Pinch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the tofu, miso, mustard, tahini paste, salt and water in a blender and<strong> blend until smooth.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Remove and place on a large plate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Turn the bread over and allow to stand for a further 2 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, heat the frying pan over a high heat for a few seconds and add the oil.<\/li>\n<li>When the oil is hot, lower the hear to medium and add the bread.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cover and fry for about 3 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Turn over and fry the other side for a <strong>further 3 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Remove from the frying pan and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now that you know this vegan version of healthy French oasts, we encourage you to prepare them and start the day with this delicious healthy treat!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Probably you know the popular french toasts and, if you haven\u2019t tried them yet, at least have heard about their popularity and their incredible flavor.
